Set in 20 acres of private, ancient woodland, in The Lake District National Park, overlooking the largest natural lake in England, is the home of The Lovely Yurt Company.
Staying in a ‘Lovely Yurt’ is a magical experience. The roundness of the structure, the window to the starry sky through the crown, the wood burning stove to keep you warm and snug and the Luxurious furnishings cannot fail to charm you.
The Yurts nestle in sunny, secluded clearings in Fell Foot Woods, with plenty of open space and stunning views over Lake Windermere and beyond. The sites enjoy a high level of freedom and privacy and, with a fire pit or chiminea outside, the scene is one of peace and beauty by night as well as by day.
The natural resources of the woodland supply your basic needs from the private stream fed hot shower to the solar powered lighting, keeping you in touch with nature without compromising on comfort.
