 | A great way to see the lake and a great way to have a full day without ever stepping into your car. You can get get dropped off at Windermere and Ambleside and get the boat back home when your ready

 | Proper old steam train rides and if you are lucky you will even see a life-sized Thomas the Tank Engine. It’s a great trip out and you can tie it in with boating on the lake or eating out at the Haverthwaite railway platform cafe. 5 mins drive from the yurt
